Motorola shows the way into the Brazilian market

Mobile communications giant Motorola is attempting to take advantage of its strong background in major events technology upon launching a new push into Brazil.

The company has established a specific management unit for Brazil under its Motorola Solutions arm, which focuses on products and services for governments and companies.

Joeval Martins, the organisation´s senior business development manager 2014 World Cup and Rio 2016 Olympics, comments that they are here to show the federal, state and municipal governments in Brazil their capacity in planning and implementing major events projects, drawing on experience gained at past Games including the Athens and Beijing Olympics.

Beyond technologies directly linked to the events, Motorola is also looking at opportunities involving communications requirements in airports.
