Growing drinks brand targets Brazil Cup and Olympics

A US energy drink brand has inked a new international licensing agreement aimed at taking advantage of the growing opportunities in the Brazilian sport market ahead of the 2014 World Cup and Rio 2016 Olympics.

Pennsylvania-based Skinny Nutritional Corporation, which produces “enhanced water beverages”, has signed G&K Enterprises to take the flagship Skinny Water product to Brazil, Argentina, and Costa Rica in the first international arrangement for the company.

The company stated that with Brazil hosting the two mega-events and the world focusing its attention on the country there is a great opportunity to expose additional millions around the world to Skinny Water.

Skinny Nutritional also expects to launch additional branded products, including Skinny Tea, and other Skinny branded beverages.
